Oncotect is specifically designed to detect cancer biomarkers in a dog’s urine that standard blood or urine tests may overlook - a key factor behind cancer’s high mortality rate due to late diagnosis. While preventing cancer is nearly impossible, early detection and swift treatment offer the best chances for successful outcomes.

Fantastic product with quick results.

I was hesitant to trust a urine sample to detect cancer but after learning more about the Oncotect and talking with my vet I decided to try it. It was super easy ti collect the sample and send it in. The results came back quickly and I was relieved to find out both of my dogs had a low risk of cancer.

This company cares.

I was so scared my pup could have cancer due to her rough medical history. She came to me very, very ill and I managed to save her from duel diagnosis's that not only rarely occur together but alone , each are typically deadly. She had them both at the same time! We fought hard and won but I still worry about any potential damage making a favorable setting for cancer to invade.
I couldn’t afford the vets screening and frankly my vet thinks I’m crazy and I’m not a huge fan of them either! They weren’t there to see what we endured saving her life as i did a lot of the work myself since they didn’t believe in her being able to fight and win, like she did.
Oncotect helped me get her screened at home and it was fast and put my mind at ease big time!
I’m so thankful for the caring and wonderful people that are this company. I believe in their products simply because I know how much they care about their patients. Thank you Oncotect!

Anxiety reliever

Having lost two Golden Retrievers to cancer when they were 9, I worry about my current love, who is 5 years old. Doing this simple test and receiving a "Low Risk" result has lessened my anxiety. So very happy to know that such a simple, urine sample test has become available. My only reason for 4 stars versus 5, was due to the cardboard collection tray immediately started leaking urine from the corners. This was unexpected, and messy. Why isn't the tray somehow lined to prevent this? Or at least warn the owner that it might leak? Otherwise, everything was very smooth and easy to accomplish.

Thank You for the Peace of Mind

I purchased this after my Golden Retriever’s semi-annual bloodwork came back abnormal with newly elevated globulins, which can indicate cancer or inflammation. We had completed extensive testing, and the ultrasound found a nodule on her spleen.
We had lost my son’s beautiful Golden mobility service dog to hemangiosarcoma in January, and I feared the worst was happening again. My son’s girl had a tiny lesion, yet it had metastasized already. His miracle - the best service dog in the world - was gone within a week. She’d had her last annual screening ultrasound about 9 months before.
To make things more complicated, my girl has congenital kidney disease, which makes her not eligible for the anesthesia for a CT scan, biopsy, or removal of her spleen. The not knowing meant activity restrictions and one very nervous dog mom.
We had completed one blood cancer screen that showed as low risk, but our veterinary oncologist told us this Oncotect was more sensitive and detects around 91% of Hemangiosarcoma. Combined with the other test, it should provide reassurance if negative.
6 days from the time the kit was received by Oncotect, we had results. Low risk!!!
This time I cried happy tears. I could let my girl wrestle and play again without feeling like I was sitting on a time bomb. I could sleep, and I have her beside me.
Will we screen again in the future? Absolutely!!
Thank you for trying to do something to help dog parents and vets fight some of the scariest and most aggressive canine cancers.
Testing now- hopefully a cure in the future!
Thank You!!!

highly recommend for all dog parents!

Super easy to do and gives such great peace of mind. Was much easier to do than I thought, thanks to their how-to video. I love that they offer the option to easily loop in your vet so everyone is on the same page with your dog's healthcare. My vet said they love this and approve of the test quality/accuracy! Thank you Oncotect for taking care of our beloved buddies and for giving us peace of mind!

Milo Hero #315

Recently Milo, 12, a participant in the Morris Animal Foundation Golden Retriever Lifetime Study, was diagnosed with DCM. During his ultrasound a 1” lesion was found on his spleen. Due to the DCM surgery and aspiration was not recommended. I did some research and discovered the oncotect test and decided for this situation it was a great option.Thankfully his risk came back low and we will continue to monitor with ultrasound and follow up oncotect tests. It only took 10 days from when I sent in the test from CA to NC to receive Milo’s results. The whole process was easy. I am so appreciative this new tool is available for our dogs.

First time

Grateful for this screening tool. Just mailed out yesterday and praying for good results. My vet suggested this test and I will work with her to keep Oliver in optimal health! It was easy for me to administer and I will continue to monitor him no matter what.

This is such piece of mind

To have a tool like this to help you determine if your dog has a likelihood of getting one of the four types of cancers the test checks for is priceless for your piece of mind and ensuring you can take action if needed. I highly recommend this test. Having lost two dogs to hemangiosarcoma my boy Levi getting test results that he has a low chance gives me great peace of mind.

Piece of Mind

This test is super easy to do at home and gives me piece of mind that my fur baby is cancer free since Berners are typically higher risk. The kit comes with everything you need and the results only take about a week to receive. I feel better knowing my big floppy boy has a low risk for cancer. Thank you for making it so easy!

Key Part of Our Preventative Plan

I'm a bit of an obsessive pet owner. We have three Golden Retrievers that have relatives who've died from cancer, so I'm hyper-vigilant about preventative care and early detection screenings. So, every year, two of our dogs get an x-ray, and the older one gets an x-ray, ultrasound and EKG every 6 months. Recently we added the Oncotect test to each of their regimen, and I am SO glad that we did. It is by far the easiest way to screen, they don't have to be shaved or even go into the vet. They just pee, and their work is done!
