At Oncotect, we stand behind the accuracy of our canine cancer screening test. We’re committed to providing reliable, actionable information to help you make the best decisions for your dog’s health. That’s why we offer the Oncotect Accuracy Assurance: if a result is found to be inaccurate, we will refund the purchase cost of the test.

Policy Details & Requirements

1. Eligibility for Refund

  • Refunds are applicable if a confirmatory diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian contradicts the results provided by the Oncotect test.
  • The Oncotect Accuracy Assurance applies exclusively to the cancers (lymphoma, melanoma, hemangiosarcoma, and mast cell tumors) our test is designed to detect and does not cover types outside this scope.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 60 days from the date of receiving the test results.

 2. Documentation Requirements

    • To initiate a refund request, please provide the following documentation:
      • The original Oncotect test results.
      • A detailed diagnostic report from a licensed veterinarian, including any confirmatory diagnostic tests (such as biopsies, ultrasounds, or X-rays) that indicate the presence or absence of cancer.
    • Documentation must clearly show that the diagnosis was obtained within 30 days of the Oncotect test date.

 3. Proper Use of the Test

    • This policy is valid only if the test was performed according to the provided instructions, including sample collection, handling, and shipping.
    • Oncotect reserves the right to deny claims if improper sample handling is evident, as this can impact test accuracy.

 4. Exclusions for Known High-Risk Cases

    • This guarantee does not apply to pets with known pre-existing conditions or high-risk factors, such as:
      • Prior diagnosis of cancer or ongoing cancer treatment.
      • Genetic predisposition for cancer in certain high-risk breeds.
    • For high-risk cases, we recommend consulting a veterinarian regarding additional confirmatory tests beyond the Oncotect screening.

 5. One-Time Use Per Pet

    • The Accuracy Assurance applies to a single test per pet. Repeat or multiple test claims for the same pet are not eligible under this policy.

 6. Eligible Purchasers

    • Refunds are available only to the original purchaser and are non-transferable.

 7. Return of Unused Kits

    • For bulk orders or kits purchased as a bundle, unused kits must be returned to Oncotect prior to issuing a refund.

 8. Limitations of Liability

    • Oncotect’s liability under this policy is limited to the cost of the test and does not extend to veterinary costs, treatments, or any other associated expenses.
    • This guarantee is intended solely for accuracy assurance and does not replace professional veterinary care or diagnosis.
