Oncotect detects the 4 most common cancers, melanoma, lymphoma, mast cell tumor, and hemangiosarcoma at 90% accuracy (85% true positive and 96% true negative), as demonstrated by clinical data.
While Oncotect doesn't require a vet visit, we keep your vet informed and involved throughout the entire process and we work closely with your vet.
Lucy came in for a wellness check and was found to have a high-risk for cancer.

Every Moment with Your Dog is Precious, Let’s Make Them Last!
It's heartbreaking to realize that a vast majority of pet parents, over 90%, have felt the sting of cancer in dogs, either directly or through shared experiences. Regrettably, cancer holds the notorious title of being the leading cause of our furry friends' demise, with a staggering 6 million dogs diagnosed annually. This startling statistic reveals the grim reality that 1 in every 3 dogs will encounter cancer in their lifetimes.
To combat this prevalent issue, veterinarians universally recommend annual cancer screening tests for dogs, fostering early detection and intervention. We present Oncotect, a revolutionary advancement in canine health, as the world’s first non-invasive, at-home cancer screening test designed exclusively for dogs. Our aim is to empower pet parents with the ability to safeguard their loyal companions from the shadows of this debilitating disease, enabling a life filled with joy and companionship.Back to Top

What veterinarians are saying about Oncotect
"The Oncotect test is a perfect screening test for early cancer detection. With cancer prevention being so difficult, identifying it early is the best strategy."
Dr. Dave Ruslander, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology), DACVR (Radiation Oncology)
“With results in as quick as a few days and being less invasive than other methods, I appreciate that Oncotect can quickly and comfortably offer peace of mind or a therapeutic plan to my patient’s dogs.”
Dr. Martha Edwards, DVM
“Gone are the days that cancer sneaks up on us! Since adding the Oncotect urine screen to our senior blood panels we’ve been able to find cancers early on, monitor cancer for resurgence, and provide preventative medicine.”
Dr. Page Wages, DVM
Decided to try the test on my son's 5 year old French Bulldog and it went fairly well. Most challenging part was collecting the sample and when we repeat the test in the future we will probably try to schedule the urine collection during one of our pet's routine wellness appointments at our veterinarian's office. Rest of the process went very well --- received confirmation on the receipt of the sample and then the test results. As we hoped, the test results were low or negative so this is one less thing we have to think about right now.
I have a large dog that is terrified of going to the vet. She has had a lump on her leg for about a year. The vet did a needle aspiration 8 months ago and determined it was just a cyst. Last month it doubled in size which escalated my concern. I thought of screening her with the Oncotect test to determine if a trip to the vet was absolutely necessary. I’m glad to report that her cancer risk came back LOW so I will continue to just monitor since it does not seem to trouble her at all. Thank you for the peace of mind! 💕
I received my Oncotect box and it was super easy to understand and set up. This is a great product. We have indicator lights in our car that alert us if there is a problem. Now we have an indicator light for our dog with regard to cancer. It is not practical to spend 1500 to get an abdominal ultrasound and chest xrays yearly for your pet... but at least now we have a relatively inexpensive, easy option to check our pet's engine and make sure there are no problems. Thank you Oncotect!
Our family was happy to learn that our dog Lucy is not predisposed to cancer. The Oncotect testing process was cost-effective, simple and quick. Test your pup today for peace of mind! 👍🐶❤️
My kit came on time and as expected. While the process of collecting the urine was made as easy as possible, there were some challenges and I wasn't able to get the full amount. I contacted Oncatect and they looked out for my returned test and were able to use what I gave them. And, it was good news about my Dog! Communication was great, and they made it work for me,
